I had never heard of homeopathy until a routine asthma check-up with my Doctor. I'd had asthma since I was a child which was steadily getting worse, needing more medication to keep it under control. I was concerned as I'd also had winter bronchitis for the previous 3 years, so asked my G.P. if there was anything else I could do to help myself. He suggested homeopathy as a complementary medicine and offered to refer me to a local clinic. I was a little cynical but had nothing to lose so agreed.
That was over 10 years ago and I haven't seen my G.P. since (although I did send him a thank-you card)! After 3 months of homeopathic treatment I no longer needed any asthma medication and I haven't had asthma or bronchitis since. I was so impressed with homeopathy that I decided to train to become a homeopath myself and enrolled on the 4 year licenciate programme with the Contemporary College of Homeopathy which is an approved college for the Society of Homeopaths. I started a practice at Castle Clinic for Complementary Health in Bridgwater straight after graduating in 2011.
In my clinics I have treated many people who have come to me as a desperate last hope having tried everything else, and I have felt privileged to help restore them back to health. Some had been struggling with asthma like myself, some with hormonal or menopausal symptoms and many with anxiety and depression or who just couldn't move on with life since a bereavement. I treat anyone who wishes to improve their health, whatever symptoms they have. There are many views on homeopathy - I prefer to keep it simple: I had asthma for over 30 years and now I don't have asthma. I know homeopathy worked for me, and I've seen it work for lots of my patients ....... it could just work for you too!
